Weston Scholarship Fundraiser

Weston Scholarship would like to announce the sale of a Roman Loranc photograph "Beginnings". This limited 11x14 toned silver gelatin photograph was generously donated to the Weston Scholarship by Roman himself.

The photograph is an edition of 30. The cost is a $500 donation ($20 for shipping) (Roman's 11x14 photographs start at $900 and go up after 10 are sold).

The negative will be retired after the 30 photographs are sold.

This is a beautiful rich photograph with the full tones that Roman is so famous for. (I hope it looks okay on your monitor if you have one of those high quality monitors it may appear darker than the original print. It is always difficult to scan images true to the original)

All proceeds from this sale will go directly to the Weston Scholarship and in 2011 we will award a new scholarship named after Roman Loranc.

Tax will not be included in this donation but additional charges may apply, shipping to Europe is $35.00 (will be added at time of purchase) Wire transfer $11.00 (will be added at time of purchase)

You may buy this amazing print through our safe online shopping cart or by contacting Gina Weston today to buy your print! 831.624.8111.

What a great way to support the Weston Scholarship!

Yesterday we judged 91 portfolios from our Monterey County high schools and colleges. I got so excited that I forgot to take photographs. But I did take a few! We selected 25 portfolios in all. Tomorrow we will hang the show at the Marjorie Evans Gallery at the Sunset Center in Carmel CA. Today (yes we work on Sundays too) Kim scanned all of the images for the website and I made labels for the walls. Looking forward to seeing all of you on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 6pm. The awards will be given promptly at 6:30pm. Dress warmly - we will go out on the patio. Winners will also pick up their portfolios that night. Don't forget! See you there!
